Internet of Things & Industria 4.0

Participation is free and open to all.

In this seminar, the concept of IoT (Internet of Things) will be introduced: we will speak of its purpose, about the new telecommunication technologies which allow objects to communicate, and about the used sensors. Then we will address the new realities of Industry 4.0, the new concept of production. Finally, we will conclude with an analysis of how these new innovations are changing and will change our lifestyles.

To whom it may concern:

No technical requirements are required, the seminar will discuss general topics and technical but only for dissemination purposes. The purpose of this event is to show everyone the validity of the new information technology development approach and new job opportunities in this field that are opening up to all.

The main topics of Internet of Things:

Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Domotics (House Automation), Electronics, Sensors, DIY, Communication Protocols, Smart City

The main topics of Industry 4.0:

3D Printing, Rapid Prototyping, Open Hardware, Big Data, and so on.

It is also a way to see all of us in person.
